Epiphone Thunderbird IV Strap Placement Fix. This 6-part photo shows the process I went through to fix the neck weight problem with this bass guitar. I read a forum note about moving the top strap knob and decided to try it. While I was at it, I replaced the stock knobs with Straplock ones. It worked like a dream too. The bass is a lot more balanced and doesn’t suffer from neck diving anymore.
